Please join us at one or all of the
2009 Start! Charlottesville Area Heart Walks.
The Heart Walk is where we will celebrate your success in raising funds for lifesaving cardiovascular research and community education programs in Central Virginia. We will honor survivors as well as loved ones who have been lost to our community's #1 causes of death and disability--heart disease and stroke.
The Heart Walk events include fun-filled activities for the entire family; pets on a leash are welcome.

| START! ORANGE COUNTY HEART WALK - Registration begins at 1:30; Walk begins at 2:00. Participants may elect to take a 1- or 3-mile walk around the neighborhoods surrounding Orange County High School. Pets are welcome. Refreshments will be provided at Hydration Stations along the Walk route. | 9/20/2009 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm | | START! AUGUSTA COUNTY HEART WALK - Registration begins at 9:00; Walk begins at 10:00. Participants may elect to take a 1- or 3-mile walk around Gypsy Hill Park. Pets are welcome. Refreshments will be provided at Hydration Stations along the Walk route. | 9/26/2009 9:00 am - 12:00 pm | | ALBEMARLE CO RIDE FOR THE WALK: Fun bike ride thru mountains of Virginia & W Virginia. Registration-9:00am @ Albemarle Co Ofc Bldg, 401 McIntire Rd; $20/bike, $5/passenger. Riders depart @ 9:30, riding Rt 250 to Monterey for lunch, to Brandywine, to Harrisonburg, back to C'ville.
