The 2014 Washington County & Mon Valley Heart Walk

Saturday, October 4, 2014

FRIENDS:
This past Saturday, Washington & Mon Valley residents gathered at the CONSOL ENERGY PARK for the 2014 Heart Walk. Thank you for walking and continuing to fund the fight against cardiovascular diseases and stroke. We must continue to fight the #1 Killer in the U.S. – Heart Disease & the #4 Killer is the U.S. – Stroke.

Our goal was to raise $120,000, unfortunately we are not quite there yet. Your help is needed!

If you joined us at the Walk you felt the crisp, cool fall air. With that in mind, the holiday season is just weeks away. Please contemplate all you are thankful for and use that as your motivation to consider one more fundraiser, email, or anything you may be able to do to help. Is there any way your company could help? Dress down day? Paper Hearts?

THANK YOU for all you do and let us know in any way that we can help!

The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases. These diseases, the Nation's No.1 and No.4 killers, claim more than 813,804 American lives a year. Thanks to all our walkers, donors and volunteers who have accepted the challenge to help fight heart disease and stroke. We cannot achieve our mission without each one of you!
