Challenge #1 If you recruit 10 walkers to be on your team by September 6th you will win a mystery prize
Challenge #2 If you raise $250 by September 13th you will win a mystery prize
Challenge #3 If you send out 25 emails through the heart walk website by September 20th you will win a mystery prize
Challenge #4 If you raise $500 by September 27th you will win a mystery prize
Challenge #5 If you raise $1,000 by October 1st you will win a grand prize
About the Start! Heart Walk
The Silicon Valley Start! Heart Walk is a 5K fitness walk and a 1 Mile Survivor Route that brings together companies to fight heart disease and stroke. Although you can register to walk as an individual, we recommend you join a team at your company as it provides friendly competition and a reason to get fit and train for the walk. It also creates a reason to band together with your co-workers for a common cause.
The Benefits of Walking In addition to raising money for lifesaving research and education programs, you’ll also help your company and co-workers live happier, healthier, longer lives.
Increase company pride. Surveys show that over 90 percent of employees feel proud if their company supports an important outside cause.
