Nominate yourself or someone you know that lives or works in Mercer County that made a significant lifestyle change such as stopped smoking, lowered cholesterol, lowered their blood pressure, lost weight or has committed to eating healthier or exercising more. Calling all walkers and VIP's – Are you a VIP? Raise $500 or more by September 5, 2010 and we want to celebrate your efforts. Join Roma Bank, sponsor of the VIP area and Joe Piscopo as we celebrate all of your efforts to raise dollars that will continue to support the American Heart Association's mission and help to fund community and educational programs that help to save lives. Joe Piscopo will be joining Roma in the VIP tent, where he will do a meet and greet as well as take pictures with you. I am sure he will make all of us laugh as well. Lifestyle Change
Have you made a significant lifestyle change? Do you know someone at your organization that has? If you or someone you know has lowered their blood pressure, cholesterol, stopped smoking for more than 6 months, started a healthy lifestyle regimen or lost weight nominate them or nominate yourself and send in your Lifestyle Change form by August 1 – to Jodi Grinwald at jodi.grinwald@heart.org. Everyone who meets the criteria will receive recognition and three people who have made the most significant change will receive recognition on stage at the 2010 Greater Mercer County Start!
