We are all excited about making the 2010 event the most successful ever – for our communities, for everyone who walks, for our many family members, friends and colleagues who suffer from heart disease and for the American Heart Association.

Congratulations to everyone who walked along Allen Parkway in the 2009 Heart Walk – all 25,000 of you. The Walk raised more than $1.5 million for education and life-saving research. I am committed to helping the American Heart Association, and all the great companies and people who support it, to raising $2 million this year, getting even more people to join in. Together we can make a real difference in fighting heart disease and stroke – which affect the lives of countless people – our families, our neighbors, our communities – every year."
