We are excited that you have chosen to raise funds for the American Heart Association and have chosen the Virtual Heart Walk as your method to accomplish this goal.
The Virtual Heart Walk is connected to the Heart Walk, the American Heart Association's premier fundraising event with the goal of helping individuals improve their health while they simultaneously raise funds to help fight cardiovascular disease and stroke. Unfortunately, Heart Walks do not occur in every city across America. But it is important to the American Heart Association that all Americans have an opportunity to participate in the Heart Walk in some way. Therefore, the Virtual Heart Walk tool was created! If there is not a local Heart Walk near you, The Virtual Heart Walk is the way to go and was actually developed with you in mind! It is an easy and fun way to make a difference by raising funds for American Heart Association online.
Before you begin planning your Virtual Heart Walk, check and see if there is a local Heart Walk near you. Click here to see a list of Heart Walk events in your state. If there is an event near you, we encourage you to participate in that event!
The American Heart Association is the largest voluntary health organization working to prevent, treat and defeat heart disease, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases.
