THANK YOU to everyone that helped make the Start! Richmond Heart Walk a success in 2008!
Join us on October 24th, 2009 at the Snag-A-Job Innsbrook Pavilion for the Start! Richmond Heart Walk. This event emphasizes the importance of walking as a heart healthy exercise. More than 100 corporations located in the Richmond area will join forces to raise funds to help the American Heart Association in its fight against heart disease and stroke.
Cardiovascular disease is the nation's No. 1 killer and you can substantially reduce the relative risk of coronary heart disease by adding just 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week.
Stay tuned for upcoming Heart Association events including Go Red for Women Day (February 6th) and Start! Walking at Work Day (April 8th).
Thanks to all of the walkers, donors and volunteers who have accepted the challenge to help fight heart disease and stroke. We could not achieve our mission without each and every one of you!
